Still Spinning - Dizziness and Vertigo

You may feel like you are turning around in circles even though you are standing still. That is how some vertigo sufferers describe the feeling.

It’s not so much that you feel like you’re spinning, but that everything around you is in motion, including things that shouldn’t be moving, like furniture or walls.

Some assume that it is just a temporary dizzy feeling.

But the National Institute of Health reports that 40% of adults will deal with an episode of vertigo at least once.

The older we get, the more common it becomes. In addition gender plays a role as more women than men tend to suffer.

An inner ear infection known as labyrinthitis is often associated with vertigo.

Head position changes are controlled by the vestibular system. Labyrinthitis inflames the inner ear which then affects the vestibular system.

The confusing data being sent to the brain cannot be processed properly.

Then the world starts moving, at least that is the perception to the sufferer.

This illness often goes undiagnosed and therefore untreated, but can cause unpleasant, even disturbing episodes for the person suffering with it.

Assuming that things will clear up soon, a person just doesn’t see the need to address the problem often for a long time.

Unfortunately, the problem reoccurs and can last weeks or even longer.

It can be easy to assume dizziness is a result of something common (like being really tired) so a number of episodes don’t necessarily present a pattern.

The problem then persists. Once diagnosed, medication is usually suggested such as promethazine.

Other drugs such as Dramamine, Travel-Ease etc. may be prescribed.

But like all medications, there are contraindications and potential side effects associated with taking the drug. And it doesn’t address the cause of the dizziness; it simply allows you to control the symptoms.

A little known fact with vertigo is that there are more causes than ear problems.

Tension can be the culprit as it is with some many other conditions.

As odd as that may sound, if you have tension in the muscles around your eyes, ears, or your body line from the top of your head to your pelvic bone, you may experience vertigo or episodes of dizziness as a result.

Medication does not have to be the only option. I created a natural program that has provided relief for thousands of sufferers.

It only requires a few easy daily exercises.

People have reported seriously amazing results, so I hope you’ll give it a try.
