
I struggled with bloating most of my life. It was very discouraging and it made me feel as if there was something wrong with me. I finally got sick of it and decided to understand the causes of bloating so I could stop them.
If you’re ready to eliminate bloating from your life, try these simple but powerful steps:
1. Never drink anything at mealtime. You might think this is weird. BUT IT WORKS! You may not like it at first, but after you feel the results you’ll want to do it naturally. Gas is one of the main causes of bloating. The drink you have with a meal causes your stomach to make more digestive juices which end up creating gas.
2. Always drink when you are NOT eating, or in between meals. Drink up to one half hour before your meals and no sooner than 60-90 minutes after eating. How easy and simple this is. And remember to drink enough so you do not get thirsty.
3. If you must have desert, and that includes fruit, don’t have it right after your meal. Have it an hour or more later. When you mix sugar with your food it produces fermentation, which produces gas which is the direct cause of bloating.
4. Here’s a biggie. Don’ t mix fruit with any other kind of food or drink. Eat it all by itself. Then wait at least 20 minutes, preferably 30, before eating another type of food. Doing this will prevent fermentation from occurring in your stomach. No fermentation. No gas. No bloating. Isn’t that simple?
